Hi, I’m Ashley -

I’m so glad you’re here. I graduated from Edinboro University in 2018 with my master’s degree in social work (MSW) with an emphasis in trauma-informed care. I am new in the world of private practice, however my work in the field spans over 8 years and includes supporting individuals and families during some of the most vulnerable, critical, and tender times of their lives. 

In addition to my experience in counseling, my experience includes working in both non-profit and public health sectors. I’ve worked with families and youth navigating the pains of incarceration, trafficking survivors and victims of commercial exploitation, relational turmoil, and major life transitions, as well as individuals living with complex chronic health conditions and behavioral health needs.

My experience has taught me that everyone has a story mixed with heartache and hope. My approach is one that is centered on presence, honesty, and shared humanity. I believe you have the strength, resiliency, and abilities within yourself to live a life that is good (not perfect - but good.) My role is to support you in accessing that inner well of hope and strength by asking the hard questions, helping you connect the dots, celebrating your wins, and walking alongside you as you heal forward.

I know therapy can feel overwhelming, vulnerable, and maybe a little weird. But I assure you, it doesn’t have to be. Therapy is for everyone (even your therapist!) My goal is to demystify the therapeutic experience flinging wide the doors for anyone who wants to be seen, heard, understood, and supported.

Skills can be learned, meaning can be excavated, minds and hearts can be mended - nothing is off the table when you show up for yourself - add in some extra support and your world can shift. You are worthy of goodness, healing, hope, and presence, and I’m thankful to be one to help you along the way.
